Not officially referred to as Super Bowl, rather the inaugural AFL-NFL World Championship Game, the Green Bay Packers came into the contest as 14 point favorites over what was thought to be the representative from the inferior league, the Kansas City Chiefs. The game was played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, on January 15, 1967. The Chiefs hung tough for the first half, only trailing by four at halftime. In the end, Boston prevailed, 95-93 to give them 8 in a row. A feat that will more than likely, never be repeated again.

They won in game 5 and game 6 to sweep the final four games, and win their 7th Stanley Cup in 11 years.
